Manually add sizes and units in your assortment

Note: This article is for organizations that use manual sizing. For automated sizing, visit Size your assortment automatically using pre-loaded size curves.

To manually size your assortments, you first need to define the desired sizes for each product in your assortment and then add units across these sizes. For each product, refer to the Vendor Sizes or Available Sizes field to understand which sizes that item is available in.

Step 1: Select your sizes

Before you can add units, you’ll need to manually add which sizes you want to include in your assortments.

  1. Navigate to the Selected sizes field in the grid view.

  2. Double-click a cell under this field.

  3. Select Add size.

  4. Add all the sizes you want available for that product.

Step 2: Enter units across sizes

After your selected sizes are defined, you’ll enter units in two steps—first at the bulk level, then by each size.

Enter bulk units

To learn how to add bulk units for each product, visit Enter units per door while using Door Groups.

Add units by size

To distribute units down to the size level, click on the product image to open the Cart Details Page (CDP) and navigate to the Sizing tab.

All relevant sizing fields will be visible underneath the image within the CDP.

Below those fields, you will find the sizing table where you can manually enter the number of units per size, per door, per delivery for this product, and see how these size units roll up and compare to the bulk units that you initially entered.

Note: Size-level units must be entered manually per door. You can’t auto-distribute them from totals/subtotals columns.

Sizing errors and how to resolve them

When bulk units and size-level units don’t match, an error message will appear on the CDP and on your grid view under the ‘sizing status’ field to help you resolve the issue. To learn more, visit Sizing errors and how to resolve them.
