Lightspeed AI helps you make sense of your assortment data right inside NuORDER. Instead of manually filtering, exporting, or comparing spreadsheets, you can ask the assistant to analyze your assortment using one of the predefined questions and get specific insights instantly. It’s designed to save time, simplify complex data, and help you make smarter buying and merchandising decisions, all without leaving your assortment.
Where to find Lightspeed AI
You can open Lightspeed AI directly from your assortment. On the top right side of the screen, you’ll see the Lightspeed AI icon, before the main kebab menu. Select it to open the chat window. The panel expands to show a list of predefined questions you can select to know more about your assortment. Each question is designed to return useful insights about your product mix, customer segments, and business metrics.
How to use it
Once the panel is open, select a question that fits what you want to learn. For example, you can ask Lightspeed AI to generate a summary of your assortment, highlight which product or customer segments are over or under represented, or show which segments have the highest and lowest profit margins. The assistant will analyze your assortment data and display a written response directly in the panel.
Responses appear as short, structured summaries based on the data in your assortment. If the answer includes key metrics, they’ll be presented in an easy-to-read table within the chat window. You can scroll through the conversation to review past questions and answers at any time.
At the bottom of the panel, you’ll see a rating bar where you can rate each response on a scale of 1 to 5. This feedback helps improve future responses and ensures that the assistant learns from real user behavior.
What Lightspeed AI understands
Lightspeed AI is trained to recognize and interpret your assortment’s product attributes and customer profiles. It understands product details such as color palette, climate, fabric, style, and size, as well as customer factors like age group, geography, personality, and affordability level. Using these attributes, Lightspeed AI can identify patterns and summarize how your assortment aligns with different segments.
