Cart overview for buyers (beta)

Note: The updated cart experience is currently in private beta only for select buyers. For details about the classic cart, visit Working Order overview.

The updated cart experience simplifies how you build and submit orders, with faster updates, clearer organization, and a streamlined checkout experience. Add products to your cart, then open the cart to update quantities and other details before placing the order or saving it as a draft.

Access the cart

Add products to your cart from a brand portal or the Marketplace. Then select the cart icon to access your order.

From a brand portal

In the upper right corner, select the cart icon.

In the upper right corner, select the cart icon, then choose Continue to order for a brand.

Update the cart

Use the options in the cart to organize products, set deliveries, update order details, and more.

Search

Use the Search field to find products by name, style number, color, or season.

Manage products

Select a product name to open the product details page. From there, you can remove the product from the cart, review inventory and entered quantities when shown by the brand, and access additional details.

In the cart, enter quantities for each size. 

  • Red Image of the red dot icon. dots indicate no available inventory.
  • Yellow Image of the yellow triangle icon. triangles indicate low inventory.

Note: Each brand sets its own low inventory threshold by updating their inventory preferences.

Discounts

If a product qualifies for a promotion, a message appears to confirm the promotion is applied. Hover over the adjusted price to review the promotion name and discount value.

To review all discounts applied to the order, hover over Discounts in the Order summary.

Remove products and clear the cart

To remove a product from the cart, select the trash icon.

To remove all products and order details from the cart, select More actions, then choose Clear cart.

Add more products by returning to a brand portal or the Marketplace.

Set deliveries

Select the estimated delivery date range to make changes.

Choose a delivery window.

If the brand offers this option, select Create a custom window, then select dates within the available delivery periods.

When you’re done, select Apply delivery date.

Set order details

Order details appear on the right. Select More details to display additional order information, then select Edit to make changes.

Use the Edit order details screen to update the company, buyer, sales rep, shipping address, and billing address. Additional fields may appear depending on the brand’s configuration.

If multiple addresses are available, select the correct one. If only one is available, it’s selected automatically.

Some fields are required. Enter all required information before submitting the order.

When you’re done, select Save changes.

Save as a draft or check out

Use the options in the right panel to save the order as a draft or check out.

Save as a draft

Select Save as a draft to revisit the order later. Enter a draft name, then select Save draft. If you don’t enter a name, the draft is saved as Draft order [order number].

To revisit a draft order, go to the Orders page and select the pencil icon next to the draft. You can also select the order, then select the pencil icon on the order details page. 

The cart updates with the draft’s details. If the cart already contains products, a message appears asking you to confirm if you want to replace the cart contents.

Tip: On the Orders page, use the Order Status filter and select Draft to narrow the list of orders.

Checkout

When you’re ready to submit the order, select Checkout and follow the steps in the “Checkout options” section of Order checkout overview

If there are issues with the order, such as missing quantities, duplicate products, or overordering, a message appears with an option to resolve them. Select the action to review and fix the issues. For example, select Review products for missing product quantities.

Resolve the issues in the order. Select Clear all to review all products in the cart.

When you’re ready, select Checkout to submit the order.

Reminder: Follow the steps in the “Checkout options” section of Order checkout overview to complete the checkout process.
