If offered by the brand, NuORDER’s Bulk Order feature allows you to use a single order to place separate orders against multiple locations (aka doors). As an example, consider placing a Bulk Order when ordering for a future season to ensure your locations are properly stocked.
Shipping addresses
When submitting a Bulk Order, you can ship to multiple locations. Locations are based on the addresses selected in the Order Details tab of the order. Some brands may allow for bulk ordering, but use Order Types to prevent the ability to specify the ship locations, including the order quantity by location.
To select multiple addresses for your order, navigate to the Order Details tab, select the pencil icon for Shipping Addresses (if applicable) and make your selections. Select individual addresses or use the checkbox next to Description to select all addresses. Use the icon to the left of each location to reorder your doors for this order.
You can find a Shipping or Billing address by typing its name in the address field or selecting it from the dropdown menu, which lists:
- The default address first (which is also preselected)
- All other addresses alphabetically (A-Z)
Note: For the brands without the address search feature, scroll through the lists to find and select an address.
When you're done, select Save Locations.
Deliveries
In the Products tab, use the options to the right of each product to specify the delivery type (example: prebook) and a delivery window date range. When you set the delivery for one product, you can choose to apply to multiple products. You can also select Add Product Again to add the same product to the order more than once or select the trash icon to remove a product.
Note: Learn more with Working Order overview and, if offered by the brand, Sizing View in the Working Order.
Size and quantities
In the Products tab, enter a number in the Bulk Units field to specify the maximum units to purchase for all locations.
- If the Bulk Units field is hidden, then you are required to enter sizes into the Sizes & Quantities table.
- If the Bulk Units field is not hidden, then entering sizes is optional or the brand has prevented the ability to size by location.
To display the Size & Quantities table, select + Add Sizing.
Note: If offered by the brand, the Sizing View supports bulk orders, and can be using to manage product quantities and deliveries for your order. Learn more with Sizing View in the Working Order.
Use the Size & Quantities table to enter sizes. Submit units for All Locations Combined or By Location. Some brands may have configured Order Types to only show one of these options. For example, the Contract Order Type may only show All Locations Combined, while the Order Order Type may only show By Location.
Note: If you only see All Locations Combined, either you have not selected multiple shipping locations from the Order Details tab or the brand has prevented the ability to specify the number of units by location. If the brand has set that limitation, enter size quantities for All Locations Combined for each product in your order.
When you submit the order, it splits into separate orders for each location and adds a suffix to the original NuORDER Order Number (examples: 1234567-1-A, 1234567-2-B, 1234567-3-C).
Product Details page
If enabled by the brand, you can review the quantities of products in the Working Order by opening that item’s Product Details page. For an optimized flow, use the New Product Page Experience. For bulk orders, you can update quantities for All Locations Combined or select the pencil icon to make quantity changes directly in the Working Order.
Note: If the brand has prevented the ability to specify the number of units by location, then when adding products to your cart from the Product Details page, the products will be added to All Locations Combined.
Order export
Only the selected locations (in their chosen display order) appear on Order Export Templates (select Export in the lower-left corner of the Working Order). If offered by the brand, you can use an Order Export Template in a Vertical Multiple Deliveries format to download and upload your bulk order. The Order Details tab of this spreadsheet specifies the location for each delivery.
If the brand has configured Order Types to show or hide By Location or All Locations Combined, then the exported spreadsheet honors that configuration, based on the selected Order Type.
Note: See Export and import orders for more information about using Order Export Templates.
