Sold out banners
When enabled, products with 0 inventory for all sizes automatically display a Sold Out banner on product images in the Product Gallery.
If you manually upload inventory or you use automation to update inventory, Sold Out banners function the same way.
To set up Sold Out banners, go to Settings > Brand Admin > Product Catalog Settings > Product Banners.
In the Sold Out Banners section, set the toggle to Yes and then select Save.
Customization banner
When the Customization Banner is toggled on to Yes (default), customizable products are displayed with a Customizable banner.
If you make a change, select Save.
Custom banners
Use custom banners to display text on product images. For example, Top Seller or Season Exclusive. You can apply a banner to a single product or multiple products.
From the left navigation menu, go to Settings > Brand Admin > Product Catalog Settings > Product Banners.
In the Custom Banners section, select Add New Banner. Enter Banner Text and choose a Color. Add and configure more banners as needed.
When you're done, select Save in the upper-right corner.
Apply banners to products (manually)
After creating a banner, go to Settings > Brand Admin > Product Catalog Settings > Product Gallery.
Navigate to the Edit tab and then select the pencil icon for a product to assign a banner. Scroll down to the Product Banners section to toggle on a banner and then select Save Product.
Apply banners to products (in bulk)
After creating a banner, you can assign banners to products in bulk with a Product Data upload. Download a Product Data file by navigating to Settings > Brand Admin > Data > Product Data.
Using the banners column, enter the exact name of the banner.
Save the updated spreadsheet and return to Settings > Brand Admin > Data > Product Data to upload the file.
Note: You may need to refresh your product page to see the updated banners.
Banners in downloaded or emailed PDFs
When users download a PDF Linesheet (aka Catalog) or Custom List, they can choose to Include product banners.
You can also email a Linesheet or Custom List as a PDF with product banners. Go to the Linesheet or Custom List and select Send.
Toggle on Include PDF and select Include product banners. Make additional selections as needed, choose the recipients, and then select Send.
FAQ
Q. If we're using Sold Out banners and custom banners, which banner displays when a product's inventory drops to 0?
A. When the product's inventory drops to 0, the Sold Out banner displays.
Q: Are Sold Out banners segmented by warehouse or must the style be sold out in all warehouses for the banner to appear?
A: A style must be completely sold out across all warehouses for the Sold Out banner to appear. Styles are sold out when the inventory is zero in all warehouses, across all replenishments, for all sizes, and when no prebook is available.
