As a buyer, you can make changes to an order as long as your order is IN REVIEW on the Orders tab, and the brand gives you permission to edit orders IN REVIEW. If you are able to edit an order in review, you will see a pencil icon to the right of the order when you hover over the order in the order section.
Once your order has been approved by a sales rep and moved into APPROVED or PROCESSED, you'll have to contact the brand to make changes.
From the IN REVIEW list, click Edit open your order in the working order. As a buyer, you can change:
- Products (add or remove styles)
- Sizing/quantities
- Billing and shipping addresses (if you have multiple locations)
- Customer PO number
- Notes
Editing orders with negative inventory
It’s possible to try and order an item that later has negative inventory.
Previously, if an order had negative inventory, no changes could be made and submitted until the item with negative ATS was removed from the order. If this should occur, NuORDER now makes it easy to edit these orders, though you will be unable to edit the units ordered for any product with negative inventory.
For example, if a line item has sizes Small, Medium and Large, but the Small has negative 10 ATS allocated, you will not be able to adjust the number of units for the Small. However, if the Medium and Large have 50 units each allocated and +50 ATS each, you can edit the quantity ordered for both the Medium and Large item. Specifically, it would be possible to add or remove 50 to each SKU.
Additionally, to edit an order with negative inventory, the order must meet the following criteria:
- The cumulative date has not changed for the order
- The warehouse has not changed for the order
- The quantity has not changed for any item with negative ATS
