Note: This article is only for organizations that use automated sizing. If you use manual sizing, visit Manually add sizes and units in your assortment.
Products that come in size packs require maintaining specific size ratios (e.g. 1-XS, 2-S, 2-M, 1-L). Because of this, it’s possible that the bulk units in your assortment and the allocation results may occasionally misalign.
To provide flexibility when allocating, NuORDER will size within a given tolerance above and/or below your bulk units to match the pack size ratios.
By default, the tolerance in assortments will be set to 10% above and below your written units. You can adjust this setting at any time in your account by clicking on the kabob menu in the top-right corner of an assortment and selecting Size Settings.
In the window that appears, you’ll see the following settings:
-
Tolerance:
- The Tolerance setting for your account. This number determines exactly how far away from your bulk units the sizing algorithm can look to find the optimal sizing results.
-
Above planned units:
- Checking this box confirms that the sizing algorithm is able to allocate units above your written bulk units, if needed.
