Product Customizations (for brands)

Brands can offer products with customizable options, such as an embroidered logo, collar color, or engraved initials.

Overview

Customizations allow you to offer products with adjustable options, such as embroidering text on a backpack, specifying the color of a shirt and its collar, etc. We also support offering different prices for options on customizable products. 

To activate this feature, contact your Account Manager. As part of the integration process, you will be asked to complete a detailed questionnaire with questions regarding the specifics of your customization. For example, the type of customization, the number of customization locations on a product, pricing, and more.

If you’re using images for the Customization, you will also be asked to provide a spreadsheet with the image details. See the below example.

Manage logos

Buyers can upload logo images when they configure customizable products.

Customize a product.

Brand users with permission to manage customization logos can go to Settings > Brand Admin > Customizations > Manage Logo

Note: Contact our Support team to manage user role permissions. 

On the Manage Logos page, approve or reject uploaded logos, or edit details specific to your product customizations, such as:

  • Stitch count for embroidered logos.
  • Printing type.
  • Weight, dimensions, or other measurements. 

Brand Admin.

Select the different approval status tabs to review logos that are either Pending, Approved, or Rejected. The column headers correspond to your brand’s customization settings and may differ from the example images. 

Refine the list of displayed logos with the available filters, such as Customer, and Printing type (if applicable). You can also use the Search field to locate a logo by file name. 

Tip: Hover over an image in the Logo column to zoom in.

Manage logos filters.

Select a logo, then choose one of the following options:

  • Approve: Changes the logo’s approval status to Approved.
  • Reject: Changes the logo’s approval status to Rejected
  • Download: Downloads the image. 
  • Edit: Opens the Edit logo details screen to update fields, like stitch count or printing type.

Actions.

If you select Edit, update fields, then save with one of these options:

  • Save: Saves the details without changing the approval status.
  • Save and Approve: Saves the details and sets the approval status to Approved.

After the approval status changes, logos automatically move from the Pending tab to the Approved or Rejected tabs.

Customization product banner

Contact your Account Manager if you’re interested in updating the configuration of product Customizations.

Brands can hide or display the Customization banner on customizable products by going to Settings > Brand Admin > Product Catalog Settings > Product Banners.

When the Customization Banner is toggled on to Yes (default), customizable products are displayed with a Customizable banner. If you make a change, select Save.
