Q: Does the app work offline?

A: The first time you log in, you need to be online using WiFi. After this first time, the NuORDER app works when you're online or off. Learn more about syncing items after being offline with our Mobile 4.0 sync center.

Q: How do I install and update the app?

A: We're continuously making changes and improvements to the NuORDER app. Download NuORDER 4.0 on your iPad or iPhone and keep your updates turned on, so you don't miss anything. Follow the instructions in Install and update Mobile 4.0 (iPad and iPhone).

Q: How do I check my Mobile 4.0 version?

A: When logged out, see the version in the lower-left corner of the Log In screen. When logged in, expand the main menu and scroll to the bottom to see the version.

Q: How do I check my iOS version?

A: The iOS version you're using is displayed within NuORDER as well as within your device. In NuORDER, expand the main menu and scroll to the bottom to see the iOS version. On your device, go to Settings > General > About. If your Software Version is lower than 15, then you'll need to upgrade.

Q: I'm trying to install the app, but the download seems stuck. What happened?

A: You may need to upgrade you iOS software. The NuORDER app requires iOS 15 or above.

  1. Go to Settings > General > About. If your Software Version is lower than 15, then you'll need to upgrade.
  2. Go to Settings > General > Software Update. If you don't see Software Update as an option, you may need to connect your iPad to your computer and perform the upgrade through iTunes.
  3. After updating the software, go back to the App store and try installing the NuORDER 4.0 app again. You should be good to go!

Q: I have auto-updates turned on, but Mobile 4.0 isn't updating on my device. Why?

A: After publishing the latest version of Mobile 4.0, auto-updates push to devices throughout the following 7 days. If it's been over 7 days since the lastest release, there may be an issue with updates through Apple. To force the App Store to refresh and display the Update option, take the following steps:

  1. On your iOS device, navigate to Settings > App Store.
  2. Toggle App Updates off and on again.
  3. Open the App Store to locate and update the NuORDER 4.0 app.

Q: Is the app supported on iPad Pro?

A: Yes. You can use any version of the iPad Pro to access the NuORDER app.

Q: How can I target the most recent custom lists?

A: Sort your custom lists by Updated (Newest) or Created (Newest), so you are focusing on the most recent custom lists.

Q: Why isn't my keyboard working?

A: If your device is currently paired with an external bluetooth scanner, it will automatically hide the keyboard function. This is not unique to NuORDER and is a device-specific feature. To re-activate your keyboard, switch off or unpair the scanner from your device.

Q: Can I sync notes that aren't attached to an order?

A: Mobile 4.0 supports notes in Linesheets, Custom Lists, and Orders. Any notes would have to be housed within one of these functionalities for them to sync. Learn more about syncing with Mobile 4.0 sync center.

Q: How can I force quit the app?

A: Force quit Mobile 4.0 in the same way you would any other program on your device. Swipe up to show all of the currently open apps and then swipe up on the NuORDER app to close it.
