Once a buyer accepts an invitation from an admin, they will be added to the retailer organization.
From the point of joining a retailer organization, all buyers will be able to manually claim their orders for the retailer profile. Claiming an order against your retailer profile means that all members of the retailer profile will be able to view the order in their order list, which includes information such as Order# and Status, but not everyone will be able to see the order details page.
If the buyer is also connected to the brand, they can see the full order details.
Buyers who are not directly connected to the brand will be able to view a subset of order information under the Company orders widget, but will not be able to access the full order details page.
NOTE: Any buyer who is not associated with your retailer profile but is part of the connection will no longer be able to view the order that has been claimed. You can invite them to join your profile if you want them to see it, or you can unclaim the order to make it visible to buyers on the connection who are not part of your retailers.
Unclaimed orders are visible to all buyers listed on the company record.
How to claim orders
If a buyer placed orders on behalf of your company before they joined the retailer profile on NuORDER, they can claim those orders by assigning a retailer profile to them.
Navigate to the Company orders section, and find the unclaimed order. From the menu, select Claim order.
A modal will display, asking you to confirm your actions. Select Claim order.
The order is now linked to your retailer profile and will display in the Company orders section.
Once claimed, all buyers in your retailer profile will be able to view orders under the Company orders widget on the buyer dashboard when you log in to your account.
On the Company orders page, you can view details such as order numbers, order status, the buyer who placed the order as well as the retailer profile associated with that order. If you’re connected to the brand, you’ll see the order summary page with full functionality to edit, reorder, download etc.
How to Unclaim orders
If, for any reason, you don’t want an order to be associated with your retail organization, admin users have the ability to ‘unclaim’ it.
To unclaim an order, navigate to the Company orders section and find the order. From the menu, select Unclaim order.
A modal will display, asking you to confirm your actions. Select Unclaim order.
The order will no longer be linked to your retailer profile or visible to buyers in your organization. However, the order will remain visible to the buyer who placed it and other buyers who are listed directly on the company record by the brand.
What happens when a buyer is removed from my organization?
If a buyer is removed from your retailer organization, you’ll still see all orders they claimed when they were a member of your profile. The buyer who was removed will lose access to view these orders after they’ve been removed.
Please note that the buyer may still be connected to brands on your company record—contact the brand reps they’re connected to and ask for them to be removed from the company record.
