Setting up your retailer profile

To set up your retailer profile (hyperlink retailer profile overview article), you’ll need to select one of three options:

1. Select Set up a new retailer profile if your company doesn’t already have a retailer profile, and you want to create one for it.

2. Select My company already has a retailer profile to join an already existing retailer profile.

3. Select Not a member of a retailer? If you’re a distributor, freelance buyer, or other.

Set up a new retailer profile

If you selected Set up a new retailer profile, start by adding your company’s general information, which will be shared when connecting with brands. This includes your Company name, phone number, email, where you sell your products, your POS system and website. Then, select Continue.

Next, fill out the details about your company’s primary shipping address, including your location name, country and street address. If you can’t find your address in the drop down, add it manually. Then, select Continue.

Now, it’s time to tell us more about your company’s scale and story. Add details like the year your business opened, number of stores, annual revenue and average product price.

Next, select all the Categories of products your company carries, followed by all the Brands you currently stock. 

Tip: Make sure you add as many brands as you can in this step. This helps us give you better insights and tailor your NuORDER experience.

 

Once you complete these steps, you’re all set—your retailer profile is set up and you can shop the NuORDER Marketplace! Next, you can invite  existing buyers to join your organisation  (hyperlink article) so that you can view all your company’s orders in one place, have one single retailer presence on the marketplace and connect to brands from one single entity. Note: any buyer who accepts your invitation to join your retailer profile will either leave or archive their existing retailer profile by joining yours.

Join your company’s retailer profile

If you’ve chosen to join an existing retailer profile on NuORDER, contact your retailer profile admin. Once they add you, you’ll be able to view all company orders, connect to brands as one single entity and shop the Marketplace. If you already have an existing retailer profile and choose to accept an invitation to join another organisation’s profile, then your existing retailer profile will be archived if you are the last person to leave it. Retailer profiles with no remaining buyers will also be archived. 

Not a member of a retailer?

If you’re a distributor, freelance buyer or other—you’re all set for now. You don’t need to create or join a retailer profile at this time. You’ll still be able to shop through your existing connections. However, you won’t be able to browse our marketplace or send connection requests at this time. If you’re looking to connect to a brand, you must reach out to the brand rep and ask them to add you as a buyer to their portal directly..
