About order metrics
Brand users can access order metrics by selecting the home icon in the left navigation menu.
Things to keep in mind:
- Dashboard metrics reflect data only for submitted orders with the Approved, Processed, Partially shipped, or Shipped status. Orders with other statuses, such as Pending, In review or Canceled, aren’t included.
- The provided information is based on the orders you have access to. Access depends on assigned companies and submitted orders, user permissions and Subteam configurations.
- Use filters to review data by date range and currency.
- The data reflects activity through 7:00 PM EST and updates daily at 11:00 PM EST. Data may not include activity after 7:00 PM EST on the current day.
- Selecting a specific currency filters the data to orders in that currency. Metrics converted to your default currency use the exchange rate from the order submit date and Open Exchange Rates.
- Some widgets provide a percentage change. The system calculates the percentage change using this formula:
Percentage change =
For example, total sales this year are $100K and total sales for the same period last year were $80K. Sales increased by 25%.
Filters
Use the options in the upper right corner to filter data by date range and currency.
Date range:
- Last week: Compare last week Monday to Sunday with the same week last year.
- This month: Compare this month to date with the same dates last year.
- This year: Compare this year to date with the same dates last year.
Note: Metric widgets, such as Total sales, compare the same dates last year. For example, February 1 to 25 this year compares with February 1 to 25 last year.
Currency:
- All orders converted to [your default currency]: Review all orders converted to your default currency. The system uses the exchange rate from the order submit date and Open Exchange Rates.
- [Currency] orders only: Filters the data to orders placed in a selected currency offered by your brand.
Note: If your brand uses only one currency, only that currency appears in the dropdown.
Sales overview
The Sales overview shows Total sales, Total orders, Units, and Companies for submitted orders with the Approved, Processed, Partially shipped, or Shipped status that you have access to. The data reflects the selected date range and currency filters. For example, if you select This month, the data includes the first day of the month through today’s date for this year and compares it to the same period last year.
The top number shows data for the selected date range and currency. The bottom numbers show the total change and percentage increase or decrease compared to the corresponding period and currency last year.
Sales trends
The Sales trends graph shows sales over time, based on the selected date range and currency filters.
In this example, the chart compares current month sales with the same month last year. The chart shows the full month last year and month to date for the current year.
When you select the This year filter, the Sales trends chart includes a View report link.
Select View report to open the Order totals: YOY comparison report, so you can review the data behind the chart. You can also apply additional filters, choose different results, export the data to a file, or run the report in NuORDER.
The report displays monthly order totals in a table and includes data from multiple years for a detailed comparison.
Sales by order status and type
Based on the selected date range and currency filters, the Sales by order status and Sales by order type charts include submitted orders with the Approved, Processed, Partially shipped, or Shipped status that you have access to. As a reminder, they exclude orders with other statuses, such as Pending, In review or Canceled.
Sales by order status
This chart shows total earned sales breakdown for submitted orders grouped by Approved, Processed, Partially shipped, and Shipped status.
Sales by order type
This chart shows total sales by order type, Immediate or Prebook, and compares results to the corresponding period last year.
The left number shows data for the selected date range and currency filters. The right numbers show the total change and percentage increase or decrease compared to the same period and currency last year.
Top companies
This chart shows the companies with the highest sales from Approved, Processed, Partially shipped, or Shipped orders you have access to. Companies are sorted by sales amount, highest first.
