If NuORDER performs slowly, follow the steps below to troubleshoot the cause.
Define the Scope of the Issue
Determine if the performance issue is isolated or widespread. This helps you access user-specific problems like a local device issue or browser settings.
-
Is the performance issue widespread?
Does the issue affect the load time of the NuORDER page, or is it slow when a user tries to perform a specific action? For example, do you only notice issues when you’re syncing inventory or processing an order?
-
Does the issue impact multiple users?
Check with a few other users to see if they are experiencing the same slow performance.
-
Are the affected users in the same location?
If the issue is location-specific, it may be a local network problem.
-
Is the behavior observed on other devices?
Use different devices—such as a different computer or tablet—to rule out device-specific issues like CPU/RAM or software resource drain.
-
Is it only NuORDER that is slow?
Try accessing other integrated apps or general Back Office pages to see if the performance lag is isolated to NuORDER or affecting the entire application.
-
Is the behavior observed using other browsers?
Try a different browser to rule out browser-specific issues, caching problems, or extensions. Try clearing your cache and cookies How to Clear your Browsers Cache and Cookies.
Check the network and security software
If the issue is isolated to a single location or user, the cause is often local.
-
Network/Proxy: If multiple users are impacted, are they all using the same network? Is a Proxy server in use? Check for network issues or blockers.
-
Security/Firewall: Does your organization use security/firewall software such as Zscaler? These tools can interfere with application performance.
-
IT Team: Inform your internal IT team to check if they notice network issues or blockers that may lead to the performance report.
Record the issue on video
If the performance issue persists and the cause is still unclear, record a video of the issue and share it with the NuORDER teams to investigate further.
