Separate currencies overview
After setting separate currencies, buyers are shown prices in the selected currency for Wholesale and MSRP throughout NuORDER. As an example, the below image shows separate currencies for products in the Product Gallery.
When a user selects a company to View as or for Start Order, that company’s currency settings also apply.
Tip: Start Order isn't required, but it's recommended if you assign multiple MSRP currencies to a company and want control over which one displays. With Start Order, buyers can select the MSRP currency when starting an order and update it later in the Working Order if needed. Contact your Account Manager to learn more about the Start Order workflow.
Currencies on company contacts
To set currencies for a single company, go to Contacts. Edit or create a company and select one or more options for: Wholesale currency and MSRP currency.
To set currencies for multiple companies, use a Company Data upload. Go to Settings > Brand Admin > Data > Company Data and download your company data. Use the Vertical format. You can also download a blank company data template.
Update the columns: currency codes (for wholesale) and MSRP currency codes (for MSRP). For either column, comma separate currencies if assigning more than one.
Return to NuORDER to upload your spreadsheet at Settings > Brand Admin > Data > Company Data.
Price sheet steps for non-integrated brands
If you're manually uploading a price sheet and not using an integration, follow these steps in order:
- Download your existing price sheets.
- Contact Support or your Account Manager to activate the separate currencies feature.
- Add a Currency column for standard price sheets, or Currency Code for price-per-size and date-based price sheets.
- Upload the updated price sheet.
Currencies in standard price sheets
To set prices for different currencies within standard price sheets, go to Settings > Brand Admin > Data > Pricing and download a price sheet. You can also download a blank price sheet template.
When editing the spreadsheet, add a row for each product’s Currency. Enter prices in the Wholesale Price and Retail Price (MSRP) columns. Each product must have at least one wholesale price. Retail (MSRP) prices can be added without a wholesale price.
Note: Visit Price Sheet Overview to learn more about configuring your spreadsheet.
Return to NuORDER to upload your spreadsheet at Settings > Brand Admin > Data > Pricing.
Currencies with price per size
To set prices for currencies within price per size, go to Settings > Brand Admin > Data > Pricing and download a price per size price sheet. You can also download a blank price sheet template.
Add a separate line for each product size price for Wholesale Price and Retail Price (MSRP) with the corresponded currency.
Return to NuORDER to upload your spreadsheet at Settings > Brand Admin > Data > Pricing.
Currencies with date-based pricing
To download a template with your data, go to Settings > Brand Admin > Data > Pricing.
Add a separate line for each product price for Wholesale Price and Retail Price (MSRP) with corresponding currency and date range.
Note: Visit Date Based Pricing Set-up to learn more about configuring your spreadsheet.
Return to NuORDER to upload your spreadsheet at Settings > Brand Admin > Data > Pricing.
