Can you hide the option to "Charge Now" when checking out in the working order?

 
Yes, brand users (admins, sales managers, sales reps) have the option to charge and create a Credit Card, only create a CC, or do nothing such as charge later.

How do Customers on Net Payment Terms Place Orders?

 

Customers on Net Payment terms will place orders just like any other buyer. They will place their order through NuORDER and submit the order without providing any payment information. Once the order is submitted they can pay through the terms previously defined.

 

 

Why Isn't There a Payment Icon Next to Some Orders?

 

Some reasons there may not be a Payment Icon next to your order include:

  • The buyer on the order is no longer in the system
  • The order is a Draft Order
  • The order is an EZ Order
  • Whitelist rules has excluded the company from using credit card payments.

 

How Do I Know If a Payment Has Been Refunded?

 

You can see the transaction history on an order by clicking on the Payment screen from the Orders Page, you will see refunds listed if a refund has been completed.

 

 

What is the Minimum Amount I Can Charge?

 

The minimum amount you can charge is $2.00.

 

 

Can I Process Payments on the iPad when I'm Offline?

 

You must be connected to the Internet to process payments on the iPad.

NuORDER does not save any credit card information on the iPad, so it must be connected to the internet to securely transmit the transaction to the payment processor.

 

 

Can I Refund a Transaction Older than 60 Days?

 

You cannot refund a transaction older than 60 days. This is a rule set by the card networks (MasterCard and Visa).

If you need to refund a customer after 60 days, you should issue a check or other form of payment.

 

 

Can I Send an Invoice to My Customer?

 

Invoicing functionality is on our roadmap and will be coming soon.

 

 

Can I Pre-Authorize a Credit Card?

 

Yes. Credit Card Authorizations last 7-21 days (determined by the credit card) and affect the available credit line for the cardholder. We recommend that only pre-authorize when you are able to ship the order before the authorization expires (i.e. immediate orders and not prebook orders)
