Q: How will this integration and PO Sync feature impact my business?

A: This integration allows merchants to remove tedious, manual data entry from your Purchase Order (PO) import process, automatically syncing product imagery, MSRPs, sizing, and color schemes between R-Series and NuORDER. The PO Sync feature assures clean and accurate inventory data to make better-informed decisions, allowing merchants to accelerate readiness to sell new inventory anywhere to grow your revenue and optimize employee time allocation.

A: The integration with NuORDER is free for Lightspeed Retail customers.

Q: Will there be an integration with other B2B wholesale platforms?

A: NuORDER was acquired by Lightspeed in June 2021. Our teams are focusing on integrating NuORDER as this merger will change the way that brands and merchants do business, thanks to increased access to data.

Q: Does this integration allow merchants to make special orders or in-season reorders?

A: Yes, special orders are possible depending on their relationship with the brands retailers want to buy from.
Note that a merchant cannot buy from all the brands in NuORDER right away. Merchants can request to connect to a brand via the Marketplace or have a pre-existing business relationship with the brand to access a brand’s inventory information and to have the right to order from that specific supplier.

Q: Does this connection allow retailers to dropship a special order to their customers?

A: No, this integration does not facilitate dropshipping.
In-season ordering of one specific item is possible and can be automatically imported to the POS.
Customers will still need to come to the store to pick it up or the merchant will have to ship it to the customer’s address.
