Order Number vs. Customer PO: What's the difference?

NuORDER will automatically generate an Order Number for every new working order that is opened. The Order Number is sequential across the entire NuORDER system. This ensures that even if you have multiple portals within NuORDER, all order numbers will be unique. If needed, you can modify or overwrite this number (NuORDER will alert you if you have entered an order number that is already in use within the portal).

You can also enter a Customer PO number for reference. This number is not enforced as unique, and can be any text.

You'll find both the Order Number and Customer PO fields at the top of the Working Order.
